The River Club is one of the more popular suburbs in PlettenbergBay, due to direct river access, proximity to the beach and shops, comparatively good holiday rental income, sports facilities, and good security. This article focuses only on full title properties in (houses and vacant land) in this area. Contact the author for information on sectional title schemes in the River Club.
The market has remained relatively stable in the River Club since 2006, with average prices ranging from R1,6million to R2million, and between 6 and 13 sales per annum.
In 2012, 8 properties sold for an average of R1,78million.
In 2013 two sales have registered so far, a plot for R470,000 in the middle of the complex and a house for R2million on Knysna Creek. A number of sales are still in the registration process, so the picture for 2013 will change somewhat.

The figures above were taken from deeds information on the 26th of July 2013. Sales are listed by date of sale, not transfer date to provide a more accurate depiction. Rural property, sales below R100 000 and duplications (e.g. when a developer buys numerous properties for a single price and each is listed at the full price, only the single figure is taken) are not included in the figures.
